All-Over Hair Colour

What is all-over hair colour?

An all-over colour means 100% of the hair is coloured giving a full coverage look.

It is perfect for enhancing a natural colour, or for a slight colour change (whether this be slightly lighter or darker).

We use high performance natural Aveda colour which offers full-spectrum colour options and beautiful glossy results.

An all-over colour can be created in permanent and demi-permanent options.

Is all-over colour right for you?

This technique is suitable for both lighter and dark hair shades so long as you are not looking to dramatically lighten your current colour.

Use it to:

• enhance your natural colour
• add warmer/cooler tones to your existing hair colour
• cover grey
• add shine

An all-over colour is versatile and works well on all hair lengths and styles.

Allow around 2.5 hours (including colour development time and professional blow dry or haircut).

Prices start from £51 (for colour only).

All-over colour maintenance

An all-over root colour will need regular maintenance to look its best.

We usually find roots need colour every 4-6 weeks, although this depends on the amount of root-regrowth, grey coverage and whether the colour chosen is permanent or demi-permanent.

Optional blow dry

When you book a hair colour appointment with us you don’t have to book a blow dry as you have complimentary use of our self-dry zone – saving you time and money.

However, our styling team on hand to create a beautiful professional blow dry or haircut – just let us know when you book your colour so we can make an appointment with your favourite stylist.

Colour allergy test

Even the gentlest professional colour can very occasionally cause allergic reactions. As your wellbeing and safety is paramount,  if you’ve not had your hair coloured at James Dun’s House in the last 6 months we’ll give you a complimentary skin test prior to your colour appointment for your peace of mind.

Please pop in for a skin test at least 48 hours before your hair colour appointment: you can pop in anytime for a test, you don’t need an appointment and it only takes a minute.  We won’t be able to colour your hair until we’ve tested you.
